Biography

Andrew is a Bolton Research Scientist in ATNF Science, part of the Space & Astronomy Research Unit. His research is in time-domain radio astronomy, using Australian and international radio telescopes to investigate the sky from millisecond to decade-long timescales. He is a co-PI of the Parkes Pulsar Timing Array experiment, using precision timing of millisecond pulsars with Murriyang, CSIRO's Parkes Radio Telescope to search for ultra-low frequency gravitational waves. Using ASKAP, ATCA, and other instruments, Andrew searches for and studies the origin of variable radio sources in the Galaxy.
