Biography
Dr Monika Szabo is a SME Collaboration Manager within Science Connect (Clayton, VIC) for the SME Collaboration Initiative, SME Connect.
The SME Collaboration Initiative aims to double the number of small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) engaging with publicly funded R&D by 2030, whilst making CSIRO an exemplar in SME engagement. Monika's role is to drive forward this initiative through interactions with key internal and external stakeholders, investigating strategic programs, managing pilots/tools and contributing to data analysis projects.
Monika also manages Innovate to Grow, an online program for SMEs to understand the value of R&D and how to engage with CSIRO and/or other Australian universities.
Monika started working at CSIRO in 2017 as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry field CSIRO's Manufacturing business unit before changing paths to her current role within Science Connect.
