Biography

I use my skills as a philosopher and social scientist to research complex, socially-relevant problems such as food and nutrition security, responsible science innovation and social inclusion.

I combine specific domain knowledge in health and nutrition, agricultural development, biotechnology and applied ethics to improve the impact of interdisciplinary science efforts within Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. My research contributes to a growing body of scholarship known as engagement science which seeks to bridge the gap between research outcomes and research impact. I primarily employ analytical and qualitative research methods.
