Biography
I have completed master’s from India in Agricultural Biotechnology and have 2.5yrs work experience from the internationally recognized Government of India's sponsored Central Institute for Cotton Research, Nagpur.
I completed PhD from The University of Melbourne. Australia, on “Understanding aphids: Transcriptomics, molecular evolution and pest control”
After my PhD, I served as a scientist at CESAR Pty Ltd. Melbourne focusing on insect resistance monitoring and biodiversity surveys using biotechnolgical tools.
I worked as a post doctoral researcher at QAAFI, University of Queensland developing nano-particle assisted dsRNA molecules to control Aphids using RNAi technology.
Currently I am working on a project focusing on invasive Ant control using RNAi technology
