Biography
Ms Anne Henderson is a spatial analyst based in Townsville, Queensland. Her expertise are in spatial and temporal analysis of remotely sensing and field-based data. Her research has contributed to many projects in the Great Barrier Reef catchments over the years. These projects have:
improved our understanding of the relationship between land management and land condition and runoff and water quality in the Great Barrier Reef catchments at many scales from on-site to whole of catchment
Improved our understanding of the relationships between river flow and floodplain inundation to connectivity and in-stream pool persistence;
Improving our ability to accurately characterise the earth's surface and flow pathways and how these change through time using satellite imagery, air photography, and laser scanners such as airborne lidar and hand-held laser scanners.
