Biography
Dr Daniel Lane has 8 years of R&D experience in chemical engineering and high-temperature process chemistry.
In 2020 Daniel returned from the University of Eastern Finland where he was working with waste-to-energy companies to reduce their environmental impact and develop processes to recover valuable metals from combustion ashes and other metal-rich wastes. Daniel’s research has supported the development of emerging renewable energy technologies, practical solutions for waste management problems, and processes that transform wastes into valuable materials. Daniel also has public policy experience in the area of climate change adaptation. He joined the CSIRO's Mineral Resources business unit in April 2021.
