Biography

Tom's professional background covers Simultaneous Location And Mapping, multi-rigid-body dynamics, 3D rendering, motor control for physically simulated characters and AI architectures. His academic background in Computer Science included a final year thesis on the use of genetic algorithm optimised neural networks for articulating physically simulated characters. His current interests include 3d mapping and reconstruction of environments using laser scanners.
