Biography
Dr. Farzaneh Mahmoudi is a CSIRO Early Research Career (CERC) Postdoctoral Fellow contributing to the Drought Resilience Mission (DRM), with expertise in Membrane Science, Sustainable Water Treatment Systems, Desalination, Advanced Power Generation Technologies, and Renewable Energy Resources. She has previously held research positions at RMIT University and the Monash Sustainable Development Institute, where she focused on addressing critical environmental challenges.
In 2019, Dr. Mahmoudi was selected to represent Australia in "The Rising Stars Women in Engineering Workshop," chosen from over 300 global applicants. She is an active member of the scientific community, contributing as a writer, reviewer, editor, and speaker. Dr. Mahmoudi serves on several scientific committees and advisory boards and is dedicated to developing innovative solutions for global sustainability challenges.
