Dr Aaron Nicolson

Aaron is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC), which falls under the Health & Biosecurity (H&B) business unit of CSIRO. He is also apart of the Object Detection (OD) research activity within the Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence (MLAI) Future Science Platform (FSP) initiative of CSIRO.

His research interests include multimodal learning of image and text data for to medical imaging. Common tasks include radiology report and image generation. The goal of this research is to help radiologists and clinicians more efficiently interpret medical images.

Aaron also has experience with machine learning for robust speech processing, including speech enhancement, robust speech recognition, and robust speaker identification. Aaron obtained his PhD and BE (Hons) from Griffith University.
