Biography
I am a wildlife ecologist who studies single species focussing on distribution, habitat use and population trends. I am also interested in interspecific interactions especially predator-prey relationships. I apply information gained from field studies to develop management, mitigation and prioritisation approaches. I have 30 years of experience carrying out on-ground environmental management projects focussing on recovering threatened species and assessing potential impacts to and managing species and ecosystems in the face of environmental disturbance.
I was employed in the private sector, government and at several universities prior to working at CSIRO. For CSIRO, I have worked at the Alice Springs, and Darwin sites before moving to Brisbane in 2024. Arid zone ecology is the area of science that interests me the most.
