Biography
Matt Paget’s research and skills are in designing and implementing data-oriented systems that solve problems and improve efficiencies for science applications. He enables science teams to operate effectively by coordinating Earth observation (EO) data, computing infrastructure and web-delivery services across projects and between organisations.
Mr Paget’s present focus is on international capacity building and transfer of technical and scientific capabilities with Asian and Pacific partners.
- Principal scientist for the CSIRO EASI program.
- Founding design and implementation team member for CSIRO with the Open Data Cube (ODC) initiative.
- Lead role with the design, implementation and delivery of Australia’s Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network remote sensing data facility.
