Biography

As a genome biologist by training, my work consists of co-developing molecular genetics methods as well as bioinformatics pipelines and suites to support synthetic biology driven management of bio-security threats. I also develop platform technologies for streamlined workflows in genomics. Applications of these consist of genome assembly, annotation, functional genomics, population sequencing and monitoring - as well as gene target discovery for restoration of threatened or extinct species.
