Biography
Geoff Squire is a research software engineer and technical lead at the Centre for Earth Observation in CSIRO Space and Astronomy. Since joining CSIRO in 2000 he has worked on projects across many different research domains and scientific disciplines. Geoff enjoys designing and building systems that enhance understanding, decision making and research capabilities through digital transformation and enabling participation in a digital economy. He has a particular interest in exploring how digital services, semantic integration and data management, and cloud and web technologies can be applied to solve real world problems across research, government and commercial domains.
In his current role Geoff is part of the team that develops and manages the Earth Analytics, Science and Innovation (EASI) platform.
