Biography

Raghu is an ecologist and entomologist who uses his strengths in theoretical and empirical ecology to facilitate better natural resource management outcomes. His most significant contributions, to date, have been on the ecology and management of invasive species in natural and agricultural systems. His current research is focussed on northern Australia, wherein he applies his expertise to investigate/solve a wide range of issues from weed and pest management, especially using biological control, to biodiversity conservation.

Research interests: invasive species management, biological control, autecology, population ecology, plant-herbivore Interactions, insect ecology and behaviour, ecological risk assessment, sustainable plant industries, environmental management
