Biography
Roozbeh is a quantitative spatial ecologist specialising in geospatial analysis, data science, and statistical ecological modelling, dedicated to addressing real-world challenges. With a master's degree in GIS & Remote Sensing and a PhD in Ecological Modelling, he is experienced in open-source scientific software development, geospatial machine learning, and modelling the spatial distribution of species and biodiversity.
Here at CSIRO, Roozbeh is working as a biodiversity modeller and spatial ecologist in the Quantitative Biodiversity Assessment team. He leverages spatio-temporal data analysis, advanced statistical modelling, and cloud and high-performance computing to model and assess biodiversity for effective planning and decision making.
