Mr Peter Warren

Peter Warren is a Senior Engineer within CSIRO Mineral Resources, providing technical and project leadership across nationally significant geoscience platforms including the National Virtual Core Library (NVCL), The Spectral Geologist (TSG), AuScope Virtual Research Environments (AVRE) and the Exploration Toolkit (XT). His work spans cloud architecture, software engineering, data systems and commercial product development, supporting geological surveys, researchers and the minerals industry.

Peter leads the design and delivery of scalable data management and analysis solutions that improve access to geoscientific information and support mineral exploration and research. He works closely with government agencies, industry partners and research organisations to develop nationally coordinated solutions for geoscience data acquisition, processing, publication and discovery.

As Project Leader for TSG, Peter is responsible for guiding product strategy, stakeholder engagement and ongoing development of CSIRO's flagship commercial spectral analysis software.
