Biography

Ghanyah completed her PhD with the Cancer Treatment Toxicities Group at the University of Adelaide, where her research focused on the role of the gut microbiome in clinical responses to cancer radiotherapy and its associated mucosal toxicities.

Ghanyah is currently a CSIRO Early Career Research (CERC) Fellow in the Health and Biosecurity Research Unit. In this role, she is developing innovative intestinal organoid-microbe co-culture models to investigate host-microbe interactions and their contributions to intestinal health and disease.
