Biography
I'm a social scientist and philosopher who works on collectively solving complex, socially-relevant problems such as legacy waste transitions, food and nutrition security, and innovations in engineering biology. I apply a systems lens along with social inclusion principles to improve the sustainability and impact of interventions.
Qualitative, participatory and co-design methods are the tools I primarily use to enhance inter- and transdisciplinary research efforts within Australia and the Asia-Pacific. My research contributes to a growing body of scholarship seeking to bridge the gap between research activities, research outcomes, and social impact.
