Biography
Dr. Ning Liu is a Research Scientist at CSIRO in Canberra, Australia. Before he joined CSIRO, he was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the USDA Forest Service in the United States. His research interests include GIS, remote sensing, ecohydrological modeling, climate change, and ecosystem service accounting. He has researched the Forest–Water Nexus, evapotranspiration, and benefits of forested land in providing public drinking water. He also has experience studying responses of streamflow to vegetation and climate change and trade-offs between water yield and ecosystem productivity.
