Biography
Dr Locke's research primarily involves epigenetics and genomics, with a particular focus on DNA methylation. Currently, Dr Locke is undertaking research to exploit DNA methylation patterns for the detection and diagnosis of brain injury.
In his previous role, Dr Locke researched the impact of epigenomic dysregulation on the initiation of carcinogenesis (i.e. the formation of cancer). During this time, Dr Locke was also part of a large multi-center team working to develop biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of triple negative breast cancer.
