Biography
Andy Wang is a Research Technician in the Agroecology Team based at the EcoSciences Precinct in Dutton Park, Brisbane. His research focuses on using the skills of entomology and computer vision to develop innovative pest detection and identification systems with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning techniques. Working collaboratively within various project teams, he provides significant new approaches to solving important pest problems in agriculture, horticulture and biosecurity.
