Biography

Huichen Yang is a postdoctoral at CSIRO’s Data61. His main interests lie in deep learning, natural language processing (especially information extraction, and scientific document understanding) and digital science. His work primarily focuses on extracting relevant information from domain-related scientific literature using integrated technologies that combine text and visual perspectives, such as in the materials science domain. Additionally, he has been involved in machine learning with applications to High-Performance Computing (HPC) analytics. One of his papers received the Best Paper at the 2021 Conference on Practice and Experience in Advanced Research Computing (PEARC).
